Kyle Kuenstling: NCAA DIII History


CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – Senior Kyle Kuenstling (Dunkerton, Iowa/Dunkerton) became the first player in NCAA Division III history to score more than 1,500 points, block 125 shots, grab 750 rebounds, steal 85 passes and dish out 385 assists in his career.

Kuenstling also became the 26th three-time First Team All-Iowa Conference member today. Kuenstling was the only Kohawk named to the 14-member first and second teams this season. He was also a D3Hoops.com All-West Region Third Team member.

Kuenstling ranked fourth in the conference with 15.6 points per game, fourth in rebounds with 7.0 per game, sixth in field goal percentage at 52.8 and fourth in assists with 3.19 per game. He also ranked seventh in blocked shots and fourth in assists-to-turnover ratio.

He finished his career with 1,516 points (2nd all-time), 128 blocked shots (1st all-time), 385 assists (2nd all-time), 89 steals (11th all-time) and 766 rebounds (1st all-time).
